Launch Party Sept 30, Skokie, IL
We're hosting a launch party for Albert the Alien vol 3 at Aw Yeah Comics in Skokie, IL on September 30 from 12-2pm CST.
If you live in or around the Chicago area and would like to come pick up your Kickstarter items (otherwise, we'll ship them to you...no worries) from Gabe and I live, you can! If you want to swing by and say hi, and hang out - please do!
We'll be doing some workshops for the kids (like "How to Draw an Alien!"), and we'll be hanging out with fans and signing copies of the books for people. Once the party is over, I'll be headed home to start stuffing envelopes and shipping the books out the following week.

Hey guys, sorry for the delays in updates. I went silent so I could focus on putting the book together. I have some great news - we have so much bonus content that I don't want to push back to the next book, so we're extending the page count of the book to a full 200 pages!
This is going to include the full adventure, and about 50 pages of bonus stories from guest artists. Unlike previous volumes of Albert the Alien, we have a full 150 page adventure - which is how large the previous books have been.
I know extending the book to 200 pages was a stretch goal we didn't hit, but hey - I don't think anyone would be opposed to more content, and I'm working with the printer to minimize the cost difference (which I will absorb).
Next steps: we share the files with the printer, who will check them (we call this QA, or Quality Assurance). Once they green light the files, they will send to the printer in Taiwan, who will print and ship the thing back to us.

I had wanted to post an update about this while the campaign was live, but unfortunately we started the pin-making process a little too late for that. But, I'm happy to announce our Kickstarter-exclusive pins have arrived in the mail!

These 1.25 inch enamil pins were available during the campaign, and will also be available for pre-order during the BackerKit survey we're going to be sending out in the next week. If you missed out on this awesome reward, but would like to get one, they will be available for $10.

Many people have been asking me about getting add on's or some of the exclusives we added towards the end of the campaign, but didn't want to give up their current reward tier. The answer is yes - we are going to be offering add on's. We have partnered with BackerKit, and will be sending a survey in the next 2-3 weeks, which will offer the below add on's.
